All Stars Cricket
Burgess Hill CC have again, following the successful programme last season, signed up to take part in the ECB All Stars Cricket nationwide programme. All Stars Cricket is a new ECB initiative for children aged 5 – 8 who have never played any cricket before. These sessions will run alongside our normal youth coaching sessions for our members that commence on Friday 19th of April – see Winter & Summer Coaching. The tailored All Stars coaching programme will commence in St John’s Park on Friday the 10th May from 5.00 pm through to 5.50 pm and continue every Friday for 8 weeks. If you are completely new to cricket and wish to sign up for these coaching sessions please click here
Should any sessions be washed out by rain we will add an extra session onto the end of the programme.
All Stars Cricket is a brand new initiative from the England and Wales Cricket Board aimed at providing children aged five to eight with a great first experience in cricket. The programme being delivered by Burgess Hill CC’s ECB qualified, DBS cleared coaches, is a fun and active way to develop your child’s skills. Through our eight-week programme they will learn lots, as well as make new friends, in a safe and inclusive environment.
Putting fun right at the centre of this experience, All Stars Cricket and Burgess Hill CC aim to give children and parents/carers a lifelong love of cricket. We want today’s young people to remain in cricket for the long term, whether this is as a player, volunteer, official or spectator.
For further information of the ECB initiative can be found here.
All girls and boys are welcome, and each registered child will receive a pack of cricket goodies including a cricket bat, ball, backpack, water bottle, personalised shirt and cap to keep so that they can continue their love of cricket when they go home.
